Carrie is a woman of determination, once she sets her mind to something she will accomplish it. She is never afraid to do the hard things in order to achieve her goals, whether it’s training for triathlons or chasing down a permit, you can count on her to get the job done. She cares about the details. 

Carrie launched Certified Best Roofing with her brother, Derrick, because she is passionate about her community and wants everyone to feel safe and happy in their homes. She brings 25 years of entrepreneurship and project management to the table, and will ensure that every detail will be looked after and the job is done right.

Carrie has been married to her husband John for over 23 years. They have five children. She loves being an entrepreneur, but her favorite role will always be “Honey” to her four grand-princesses.

Derrick Vittitow

Derrick has more construction experience than professionals in the industry twice his age—it’s possible, we’ve done the math. He has extensive knowledge of home construction, from the foundation to the roof and everything in between. Trust us, he knows his stuff! Derrick is loyal and hardworking. He’s the guy you want in your corner when walking through the process of getting a new roof or working with your insurance company.

When Derrick isn’t on a roof you will find him spending time with his wife Ashley, and their four kids in Geneva. They enjoy gardening and raising a variety of animals on their small farm.
