Repair Technician
Location: Oviedo, FL (Serving Central Florida)
Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in quality craftsmanship? Certified Best Roofing is hiring a Repair Technician to handle roofing repairs with skill, efficiency, and integrity.
In this role, you’ll diagnose and repair roof leaks, storm damage, and wear-and-tear issues on residential properties. Whether it’s shingles, flashing, or underlayment—you’re the go-to expert who gets the job done right the first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and perform roof repairs on shingle, tile, or flat roofing systems
- Conduct roof inspections and identify problem areas
- Repair flashing, pipe boots, skylights, fascia, and other roofing components
- Document work with before/after photos and written reports
- Communicate clearly with homeowners and project managers
- Ensure all repairs meet Certified Best quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Provide recommendations for full replacements when necessary
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of hands-on roofing repair experience preferred
- Strong understanding of residential roofing systems
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good communication skills with both team members and customers
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
